Zain Mustafa – President SPAR

A Parsons School of Design & Columbia University educated Architect, international award winning interior designer, educator, animal rights activist and empath. He is leading the Karachi Zoo Revamp Design team. Has also led the development of the ACF team in 2014.

Trustee on the board of SBT & The Garage School. 

Founder CUBE design education initiative & educational architectural heritage tours of Sind.

On the Board of Advisors for PCCC.

Consultant to AAS Trust.

Visiting Faculty at NED & Cedar College.

Leading philanthropic projects in Sehwan & Ranikot Fort.

Rumana Imam – Vice President 

18 years of HR experience both in corporate & development sector inuding 11 years HR head at IUCN Pakistan & Asia Region in Thailand. 3 years HR Head at Adcom Pakistan. HR consultant volunteer at the Safi Benevolent Trust for The Garage School. On the development team in 2014 for ACF.

Once Committed to a cause, Rumana is excellent with ensuring all operations are set up and followed ethically, an animal empath and humanitarian.

Nida Butt – General Secretary

A trained human rights lawyer who a decade ago turned to the performing arts . She is also a trained arts manager from The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC & is theater director, choreographer and producer leading her award winning company Made for Stage Productions .

She co-founded the MAD School in Karachi 2010 with husband Hamza Jafri & is also one of the founding members of the I am Karachi Campaign.

Faraz Haider – Finance

Faraz Haider has an MBA (Marketing) from IBA Karachi with diverse experience in the advertising, digital marketing, food & beverage industries, as well as retail / wholesale distribution primarily in a planning / strategy / product development role.

He also played a key role in the development of ACF in 2014.

Marvi Mazhar – Founding Member

Marvi co-founded The Architectural Design Research Lab (ADRL).

She has served as Director of PeaceNiche& flagship project, T2F. 

In 2016, Mazhar became an appointed member of the Lahore Conservation Society, Karachi Biennale (Outreach Committee) and South Asia Foundation (SAF-Pakistan).

As an independent Heritage Consultant, she has collaborated on projects with Arcop, Shahab Ghani & Associates, EFT, Pursukoon Society, Planning, Development and Works Sindh / Culture, Tourism & Antiquities Department (PDMI).

 

Cyra Anklesaria – Founding Member 

A teacher by profession trained for children with learning disabilities. Worked in that specific area for 22 years.

Also Owns a catering company for the last 12 years based in Karachi. Also the organiser for Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Eat Food Festivals for the last 5 years.

An animal lover, who does not believe in pedigree pets. Has a network of diverse trade, private, govt and human resource connections that she brings to the table for SPAR.

Mahgul Jawed – Founding Member

Has worked in the advertising and marketing industry for over a decade. Currently spearheading one of Pakistan’s pioneering Ad Agency: Interflow Communications as General Manager.

Otherwise committed to education and tutoring by making regular appearances at colleges and universities as a visiting speaker.

Shahjahan Chaudhary – Founding Member 

Shahjahan is a serial experimentor, digital economy evangelist and speaker.

He is passionate about blockchain technology and its potential to uplift billions of humans from poverty.

He’s CEO of Team::ants, a technology company.
